Hilltop House Produce Market: Afternoon Distribution (Fall 2018)

The Hilltop Food Ministry at Hilltop United Methodist Church wants to improve the diet of the Hilltop community. They deliver 10 to 12 thousand pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables from the Mid-Ohio Food Bank to several Hilltop locations once per month and have asked us to help them.

Volunteers will move food from the truck and prepare food items for distribution to Market shoppers. Volunteers are also needed to greet, register and assist shoppers.

Please wear comfortable shoes and your Kind Columbus/Harmony Project volunteer shirt (if you do not have one, be sure to get one at rehearsal on Monday). Also, some shifts for this project are outside, so dress for the weather. You are encouraged to bring your own water bottle. Kid "helpers" are welcome as long as they are 16+ years of age.
